    Good afternoon,

I have 2 multisites. One is a staging environment, the other is production. They’re on 2 separate hosting platforms.

The process is this — I build out a site on staging, export the one site, then import it as a new site to the production multisite. This has worked perfectly, and I have done it over 8 times now.

For whatever reason, the latest import broke the production website. Every site under the multisite appeared as a white screen — both in the /wp-admin/ area as well as on the frontfacing part of the website.

Thankfully, I had a backup made before the latest import. However, when restoring from the backup, 2 different issues occurred. Firstly, All-In-One started looping through “importing…” and “Done restoring database” over and over again. During this time, the console kept displaying a 504 Gateway Timeout error. I canceled the import and then restarted it. Now it’s simply stuck on “Done restoring database”. This had never occurred before the latest update, so I am wondering it the latest version introduced some sort of bug.

I have the Unlimited Addon and the Multisite Addon.

    Hello Mike,

Please email support at servmask.com and someone will assist you with this issue right away. Also, you only need the Multisite Extension because Unlimited extension is included in Multisite. Do let the support agent know about this and they will refund you for the Unlimited Extension.

If you are adventurous and want to fix the issue yourself, I posted a small guide about what is causing this issue and how to resolve. Here is the article: https://help.servmask.com/knowledgebase/website-broken-after-import/

    Thank you for the reply!

I can certainly take a shot at trying to resolve the issue. I shot an email to support yesterday, as well as cross-posted here.

Interestingly enough, it appears that the plugin also created a bunch of directories in wp-content by accident that had PHP code as their name, which unfortunately has to be deleted via SSH (as nodes) because of non-traditional characters usage. Very perplexing.

Btw – great plugin. Although I am experiencing this issue, it is by far the best plugin I have used for importing / exporting sites and I use it on numerous projects. Keep up the great work!
