    I am helping a client troubleshoot a possible plugin conflict with WooCommerce. WooCommerce support recommended WP-Staging to clone the website so I can reproduce the issue in test mode and disable plugins etc.

    I just finished backing up and am trying to create a new staging area and I am getting stuck on step 2. When I get to the scanning step it just sits there and shows me a blank screen with no messages. I have let it sit there for a long time and nothing is happening.

    WP-Staging is using the default settings, I haven’t changed anything. WordPress is up to date.

    Am I missing something?

    Is there anyone out there that has any insight into this issue? This issue is time sensitive and I don’t have ftp access at this moment so using a plugin like this would help speed up the troubleshooting process a lot.

    Try the latest version from here and let me know if it’s working:
    https://wp-staging.com/wp-staging.zip

    It’s a complete rewrite and will be released soon.

    @sockfuzz is this working?

    @renehermi It is working, but I am getting stuck now on the preparing directories step. I am getting a fatal error and it is recommending I disable plugins before continuing to run WP Staging.

    This site is live, I don’t know how long WP Staging will take to backup the site, but I fear that if I disable plugins and start again I could leave the site broken for hours. Is there a list of known plugins that cause conflicts so I can cherry pick which ones I disable?

    @sockfuzz Are you using version 2.0.6 which i released a few hours ago?

    Please send me a mail support [at] wp-staging.com with a link to your site.

    I am pretty sure i can fix the issue for you without leaving your site broken. Just need more details which i do not want to ask publically.
