Stuck on Step Two

    My password and username work, and I seem to have the SQL database properly name. So what’s causing this

    Fatal error: Failed opening required ‘../wp-config.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /client/home/mydomain/docs/wp-admin/install.php

    I added ‘.:/usr/local/lib/php’ to line 6, the [define(‘DB_HOST’] line on config.cgi, but nothing happens.

  • What is config.cgi? – that’s not a WP file!

    And the error message does NOT ask you to add anything anywhere. It just says: your wp-config.php file is not where it is expected, i.e. in the main directory of WP.
