I have an issue which i’ve seen online elsewhere but you’ve closed the case before finding a solution.

If you publish an item to the store it will say Sync and Show. If you then save that item as a Draft and then republish it it automatically puts it as sync and hide and I can’t see how to get it to change back.

I can recreate this over and over, just like the other chap in the thread I found. Do you know what’s happening there? Really screws me on my insta product tags

  • Hi @adampalethorpe,

Indeed, I’ve seen that issue mentioned somewhere in the past but I wasn’t able to replicate it.

Per your thread, I also attempted to replicate the issue and I’m unable to replicate it on my end. Here’s a video recording of the steps I took: https://d.pr/v/U0VhQg

Since I’m unable to replicate this, I suspect it’s caused by something unique to your setup. Typically, the extension data is saved in your site’s database and the last settings saved “e.g sync and show in catalog” is what should be used when you put a public product in the draft and then re-publish it.

If you’re seeing something different, then, it appears a conflict on your site might be responsible for the issue. I’d recommend following this guide to perform a conflict test: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Additionally, can you confirm if you’re able to replicate the issue with just WooCommerce, Facebook for WooCommerce and a default theme such as Twenty Twenty activated on your site? If you can, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply.

    Thank you!
