Students can still access paid courses after completion

  • A few of my students have completed a paid course but continue to have access to the lessons despite the fact they have completed the course AND the course duration has expired. Their course completion history has been cleared but they can still access the lessons.

    In the Course Settings tab, I set a course duration (so there is a time-limit/expiration date) and checked the box for “Block Content Items Course” so they would NOT have access to the lessons after the course is completed.

    Why do they still have access to the paid course lessons after it has been completed??

    How do to restrict access to a paid course after a student has completed it??

    I am sorry about this, the function expired course time have some problem now, we are fixing it, maybe this weekend, we will have a new version update to fix it

    Hi, it appears that the issue has been fixed. Now, as long as I have checked the “block content” box for the course, students no longer have access to the course content after they have completed the course (unless they re-buy it). Thanks!

    Hi, I discovered a new issue. Students no longer have access to a course after completing it BUT they also cannot sign up again for the same course. My courses are workout programs and sometimes clients want to repeat the program.

    If I check the “Re-take Course” box, students can retake the course WITHOUT PAYING for it (which is NOT what I want).

    How can students sign up for and pay for the same course again after completing it???

    So you only no enable retake course then the user will need payment again to learn the course

    I’ve checked the box to “Block course after duration expires” AND set the “Re-take course” to zero (0) but students STILL HAVE ACCESS to the course AFTER the course duration expires!!! So they can now access the course without having to pay for it!

    HELP!!!!

    Here’s what I have tried so far:

    If I check the “Block course after duration expires” box AND leave the “Re-take course” box BLANK, user cannot access course after it expires BUT they do NOT have the option to pay to retake the course (there’s no button to pay again).

    If I check the “Block course after duration expires” box AND set the “Re-take course” to ZERO (0), user cannot access course after it expires BUT they do NOT have the option to pay to retake the course (there’s no button to pay again).

    If I check the “Block course after duration expires” box AND set the “Re-take course” to 10, user cannot access course after it expires BUT they CAN retake the course 10 TIMES WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT.

    I need the course to be blocked after it expires AND the user be able to retake the course if they pay for it.

    Hello, I really need tech support! Per the thread above, I need my courses to be blocked after the duration expires AND for users to be able to retake the course when they pay for it.

    Right now, I have to delete the user’s order so that they can retake the same course (and pay for it). Having to manually delete orders is NOT a sustainable way to manage a growing business.

    HELP!

    No, the tech support did not respond to my last messages. For now, I have to delete the student’s order so that they can pay again for a course to take it again which is really inefficient. I am planning to change from LearnPress to LearnDash. Good luck.

    Thanks for your respond. I think a have a temporary solution. The student can buy the class if they are not login. When they clic to buy the course, they login and pay for it. It’s not work if they try to buy it if they are already login.
