Hello, I am interested in purchasing your product. However, when I tested the coursepress on my site my students were not able to view their course or progress via the “Dashboard” page. A student MUST click the start learning button.

When a student does complete one of my courses that way, still the max score it will give for the unit is 75%

I AM REALLY INTERESTED IN YOUR PRODUCT AND WOULD LOVE TO MAK A PURCHASE, I just need to know that everything will work properly.

    My website is MentorSec.Com

My plug-in is up to date.

    Kind Regards.
    Alexander

hey guys, I’m in a pickle here, I want to proceed but I need to get the plugin functional before I purchase the subscription. I’ve spent the past 2 days creating my courses, I would rather not have to delete it all and go with another plugin. HELP!!!!

    Thanks again,

    Alexander

    Hey there Alexander,

I’ve tested the signup on your site and managed to login properly so I’m not really sure what you’re referring to, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/KJwQsZkFJqx.

As for the rating being 75% this is actually a recently discovered bug and it has already been reported to our developer. This happens when you add a text element within the unit, is this the case on your site as well?

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hey Bojan,

I am definitely using a text element in ALL my units, when can I expect this to be fixed? This is an important bug to be fixed before I purchase the product AND your subscription.

Im not sure how you signed up for my site, but if you navigate to the “school” tab under “learn” in my navigation ( https://www.mentorsec.com/school/ ), and try to sign up that way. The enroll now or sign up buttons are what seem to be causing the issue…

I find it weird that you managed to enroll, but I cannot. Everytime I enroll and click “this can be found in your dashboard” I get the message “You are not enrolled in any courses.” I have verified this with multiple browsers and multiple new accounts.

Please try logging in as “alexanderbarsky” with the password “password”. You will notice that it is possible to start the class, but not possible to enroll so that your progress is saved in the dashboard.

https://www.mentorsec.com/school/ is my course list that I am using.

Thanks for all your help. Looking forward to using your product to its full potential with the PRO plugin.

I agree that this is an important bug and all I can say is that we’re working on it, unfortunately I can’t provide an ETA on when the update will be released.

As for your dashboard/course issue, I see what you mean now, I logged in via login link in the navigation and everything worked properly.

This is actually an issue with logging in via popup. I tested this on my sandbox site and everything worked properly which leads me to believe this is some sort of a conflict.

Do you have any security plugins or plugins that are affecting logins in general? If no you can try testing for conflicts in general by using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

Please let me know if you find anything.

I have resolved the issue, but I am not sure what did the trick.

I am pretty sure there are some conflicts between the theme jobify and the plug-in. for now everything seems to be working.

    Hey again,

If you didn’t make any changes in the theme settings I’m not sure if this is a conflict between CoursePress and your theme, it could also be some sort of server glitch.

Either way happy to hear you’re not having issues anymore, if you run to any again please let us know ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan
