    Hi,
    I’m having some issues with my website. When my students buy a course and I upload it to be completed, they can’t access to the curriculum with their account. It’s been happening for a long time and I need to solve this so my website can work as it should be. Is not happening to all of them, just a few, but it’s hard to work this way. We’ve just update the new version of this plugin to check if it solves it. But can you check with us what could it be happening?

    When I tried to upload and complete the purchase manually, my website collapses and I can’t do it. I’m using cool integration learnpress-woocommerce and I’m having this issue. I need some help please.

    Hi!

    Thanks for your quick response, I’ve already send them a message but they haven’t answer me yet. I believe the problem is from them but when I tried to upload a purchase from woocommerce is there I have this issue. That’s why I was reaching you.

    I’ll try to explain myself.

    When a student buy a course it’s not updating the order status by its own so I have to do it manually. I used a code to make it happen but I couldn’t see if it’s working yet, I add it a few hours ago.

    If I go to woocommerce > orders > create new one
    And I try to assign it manually to the account the student have, the site collapses and sometimes its error 503 and other times wordpress debug errors but I’m not even reciving the email with the errors so I can see what’s going on.

    When I go back to the site, the order is completed but the students still see the courses with locked content. And they need to see the videos once they made the payment and I recieved it.

    Is that a little bit more clear? I’m so sorry, English is not my native lenguage and it’s so specific it’s hard for me to explain it to you.

    From what you’ve said, it seems that your site crashes when you select a customer when creating a new order from WooCommerce → Orders → Add Order:

    If it is indeed the case, we may want to check the most recent fatal error logs. The earlier fatal error logs were from LearnPress, but are also dated (July 4, 2022).

    Could you go to WooCommerce → Status → Logs and click the dropdown to see if you can find the latest fatal error logs and share them with us? They will help narrow down the cause of the crash.

    May I ask does the error happen when the order is paid via PayPal only? Or is this happening with other payment methods (Mercadopago, bank transfer)?

    To isolate the issue, you can perform the following actions:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, PayPal, and your LearPress plugins
    • Make a test order, try to buy a course or class using PayPal on your site

    At this point check if the issue is still present (check if the order status is updated properly), if not, it means there was a conflict and you can reactivate the theme and plugins gradually one by one and check again after each reactivation until the cause of the issue is found.     Hi,

    I am reciving the error in all the payment methods, no matter what I do, if I tried to upload an existing order or create a new one from the scratches, the site crashes, then, when I refresh the page, it appears as it is working but my students still see the course blocked and can’t access to the content.
    And if i upload it from Learnpress, it works fine internally but the users still can’t see the videos from the course. It started happening a few days ago and I’m going mad trying to solve it.

    If I switch the theme to another one, does it make all my configurations go away? I’m afraid it will change how my web looks or how it works when I switch it back. I don’t have much idea how this works, I want to be sure my page will look exactly as it is now despite I change and desable all the plugins in order to try what you’re asking me to do.

    If you switch to a different theme your website layout won’t look the same as each theme has its own styling. For testing purposes, it sounds like a staging site would be a good idea. If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.
