• Hi Tom,

Thanks for adding Stumble Upon. This made a lot of users happy.
    Nice job ??

I have a little comment on the way it works on my website https://CoolPile.com:
    – Post Page – WP Socialite works perfect (Including the Stumble Upon button)
    – Multiple Post Pages (ex: Homepage, Categories) – when scrolling down, the Stumble Upon button only shows for the first post on the page. The rest of the excerpts on the page do not display the SU button.

Is this the way it was intended to be? If not, how can this be fixed?

    Thanks in advance.

    E.

    Hi Tom,

Do you have any suggestion on how to address this?
Is this something I can fix myself?

    Thanks in advance.

    E,

Sorry for not touching base sooner. Its unfortunately a bug that I found (as you did) after I took stumbleupon out of its “beta” functionality with WPSocialite. Better testing next time.

I’m looking for a solution to the issue along with trying to fix the rest of the forum requested issues/features at the moment, but I (sadly) cannot give you a timeframe. All I can say is WPSocialite is usually updated on weekends when I’m not working on full time clients.

I’ll try to push out a fix ASAP. Appreciate your patience and understanding,

    -Tom

    Hi Tom,

I really appreciate your work, and the only reason I am following up on it is that I see YOU CARE ABOUT IT. If not, I would have changed WP-Socialite for another plugin long time a go ??

It is very rare I get into support topics, and I do it only when it is worth.

While you’re looking for a complete revamp, I’d like to bring to your attention another issue:
    – CooliMag.com – I set Wp-Socialite up to show Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. Although there is enough space on the front page, the buttons are left aligned and they overlap

Is this something you can take in consideration while fixing the rest of the stuff?

    Regards,
    E

    E,

Appreciate your kind words. You’re right, I do care! Thats why I try my hardest to make releases as frequent as possible.

I will take a look at the CSS on your site and see if there is a reason its cramming them together.

    As always, appreciate your understanding.

    Hi Tom,

Did you get any development on this?
I need to start posting on CooliMag.com.

Please let me know if you think a solution could take more than a couple of days … so I can use an alternate addon until it’s fixed.

Also – for CoolPile.com – any idea how I can fix the above described issue?

    Regards
    E.

Additional info on the error —
On CoolPile.com – only one Stumble Upon button loads only for the focus post. EX: if on the page are 10 posts, and the page is scrolled down to it’s middle (5th article), when reloading the page, only the Stumble Upon button on the 5th article will load. The rest of the unfocused article buttons will not load (ex: 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10)

    I hope this helps.

FYI, we are also experiencing the StumbleUpon issue on Technology Bloggers.

It only occurs when there is more than one post on a page. If I put two instances of the buttons on the same page there is no issue, but if you introduce a second post, the StumbleUpon button only works on the button sets in/for the first post.

We are using the WordPress 3.5.2 and WPSocialite 2.3.

If you want to contact me for any sort of testing, I am more than happy to help ??

    Hi Tom,

    I hope all is good.
Did you have a chance to look into the StumbleUpon issue?

Also – any chance iof adding the FB Share button?

    Thanks in advance.
