• I am sure this is easy to fix, but I need help.

I create a new page. Add some text. Publish the page.

When I view the published page in my browser, beneath the last sentence of the text, it says “Edit this page”. Why? I do not want “Edit this page” to appear. How do I remove this link?

    Thanks in advance,
    Lee

  • You only see that if you’re logged in to your admin account, it’s a short cut for you to edit your page if you want to; Are you sure you want to get rid of the short cut?

the “Edit this Page” will link will only appear when you’re logged. it’s simply a convenience for you if you’re browser your own site and see the need to edit a page/post.

if you really want to remove it, you’ll need to open up your theme to edit, find the references to edit_post_link() and remove them.
