Stupid Plugin Question

  • Just getting down to basics a bit here but how many plugins can WordPress use?

    I am trying to get about 20 including a forum and UTW plus WP-cache and cforms and – and – and –

    Is this too much, as everything is very slow and I am getting several Fatal Errors when I try to Activate plugins.

  • I wouldn’t think that would be too many. What are the errors you are getting?

    the error, I assume, is what he/she described .. the dreaded “fatal error” which provides no other info..

    gemmo1, there isnt a limit numerically as to how many plugins you can use, that Ive been made aware of — I know of some sites that use nearly 40 without a problem. It not so many how many, but what ones.
