Style every second post different

  • Hey guys,
    I am creating a new theme and I want every post on the frontpage look different.

    For example posts #1, #3, #5 and #7 should have a red title and be placed left. Posts #2, #4, #6, #8 and #10 should have a blue title and be placed right.

    Think about some chat programs that display your message left in one color and the messages of your partner in another color and on the right.

    Is there any way to style every second post differently to the previous one?
