    Ah, this is intentional. The CSS is put inline with the block in order to prevent the CSS from blocking the rendering, and so that the stylesheet is only ever included on posts that actually use the Code block. Nevertheless, the current approach causes issues for some sites. So it may need to be undone. You can subscribe to that issue for updates.
