Style Of Previous Pages

  • I’m guessing I’m not using the right search terms which is why I can’t figure out how to do this. I want the style of pages other than the main page to be excerpts. Right now I have it set up so that the first post on the main page is a full post and then there’s 4 excepts. If I click to go to a previous page, it’s the same way. I want all previous pages to be excerpts only. I hope I’ve explained this so you can understand. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks.

  • it totally depends on the theme you are using, you should probably contact for support from your theme designer, he could guide you more appropriately.

    I create my own themes. I did contact myself but unfortunately I didn’t have a solution, lol. I’m trying to set up a conditional statement but it doesn’t seem to be working thus far.

    Can anyone tell me how to do this? Still haven’t figured it out. In case I didn’t make clear what I’m trying to do… when I click the previous link at the bottom of my main page, I want pages 2/3/etc to be just excepts instead of a full post and then 4 excerpts which is how I have the main page set up. Thanks.
