Hi, please find below my problem :

    1. Link Your Implementation of Popup Maker (www)

The website is not public for now

    2. Describe what is supposed to happen

Following the process to identify where the CSS core and themes styles are, I want to remove the embeded styles in order to apply my own CSS code. So I’ve unchecked the 2 checkboxes as recommanded in the tutorial.

    3. Describe what is actually happening

Using my browser’s inspector I see that CSS styles continue to show up in the code (and obviously on the front-end) even with the 2 checkboxes checked and modifications applied.

    4. If you have to click something on your page to get the popup to show, please specify where.

The popup is triggered via a Gutenberg block button and the popup embeds a WPforms form.

Thanks by advacne for your coming help!

  • Hello @harrow – thanks for writing in!

May I ask, do you have any caching plugin active on your website? If yes, could you please try to purge/clear caching and browsers cache to see if that fixes the issue? You can also try to deactivate it temporarily from your end to see if that helps as well.

Or, you can check this using a different browser or in incognito mode to see if the issue still occurs.

Furthermore, you can try to disable asset caching under your Popup Maker > Settings > Misc and check it again if that helps you solve the problem. You can also check out this demo screencast to make it more clear for you: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2NuyW0qE

If that helps, then we would very much appreciate it if you could quickly rate the plugin, just to help us spread the word.

Otherwise, for us to assist you further with your issue, you will need to escalate it directly to our HelpScout support desk. Check out this link: https://wppopupmaker.com/support/ Thank you.

    Hi Maria,

Thanks for your quick reply ??
My cache plugin (W3 Total cache) is disable. Following your suggestion I’ve disable asset caching under the settings part but with no success… Styles are still there (see: https://postimg.cc/hQTXk6Fj).

Hi there @harrow – thanks for sending us an update. Is everything working correctly on your end now?
