Style sheet won't update, returns 404 page.

  • When I try to update the style sheet through the dashboard it returns a 404 page. I’ve had to make all updates through ftp.

    I have:

    ? Updated all themes, plugins and WordPress install.

    ? Deactivated all plugins one by one and tried a different theme. No change.

    ? Changed permissions for the style sheet. No change.

    Anybody have any ideas?

  • Are you using any Caching plugins? If so, you might need to re-build the cache after changes to the stylesheet, which should be a button in the plugin’s settings.

    Good thought! I just checked though and no caching plugin. Thanks for weighing in. I appreciate the help. ??
