Hey there @hebhansen, I’m happy to help clear up a few things!
First, apologies for the confusion around threads vs. posts, I know the terminology can be confusing and I probably wasn’t clear enough.
A forum thread consists of multiple posts within it, and is sometimes also called a forum topic. This topic has the title “Style Submenu dropdown.” Once that issue was resolved with the CSS I provided, it would have been great to start a new topic/thread, with its own title. That way, other folks could have spotted the new questions more easily – and offered help for your new questions that were unrelated to your submenu styling.
is this to help people in need in the most efficient way or is this for the convenience of support team or is this a statistics thing with a lot of problem solved cases?
I just wanted to clear something up. The folks responding to questions here are all volunteers. There is no “Support Team” and anyone can help out. The request to start a new thread/topic with its own topic title is to benefit you. ?? If you add on more questions to a thread like this one and I happen to not be available to help, you may not get an answer, or you may have to wait really long for someone to notice that you’ve continued to request additional assistance. Whereas if you start a new thread/topic, another volunteer helper is much more likely to see it and respond, even if it’s not me.
I hope this clears things up a bit. ??
