Style Subscribe button

I’m trying to style the jetpack subscribe button. Found a couple of posts…tried this https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-change-the-subscribe-button but seems to modify the button text rather than the button itself. I added this to my custom CSS

color: #3A8F94;
}’

Ideally I would like it to be #3A8F94 and #474747 on mouseover. Grateful for any tips!
