Style suddenly disappeared

  • Hi, guys –

    The styles I selected for my widget (Classic mode) suddenly disappeared when I checked my site today. The globe icon, text and background for the dropdown menu were in orange. There was also no box shadow on the dropdown. Any idea what might have caused this change?

    The same thing occurred on another site: https://futuregram.io/pannotation/: all my styles disappeared.

    It’s happened to my site as well. Not working on my dev and production

    This is likely due to a conflict with other plugins or even the theme. I suggest you to try disabling the other plugins one by one to find which one is conflicting

    A plugin conflict isn’t the cause. I have a site with the Translator as the only plugin and a default WordPress theme active and the issue persists: https://futuregram.io/icamp/.

    I believe the issue has to do with the latest update to the plugin (version 1.5.4). When I initially checked the link above, my settings were preserved on the front-end, but once I updated the plugin the issue with my other sites appeared: my style settings on the back-end disappeared.

    Please assist.

    I don’t have good new folks, sorry about it.

    Currently only the “minimalist” widget is working as expected. I strongly suggest you move over to it as we are deprecating the “classic”.


    The reason is that its behaviour is tightly coupled to the Google Translate widget that we use as the engine and any change on this engine breaks the widget, as in this case.

    Would there be updates around this issue in the near future?
