    Hi There,

I’ve set up my top navigation to included a link to my Portfolio page with a drop-down mennu that includes my Portfolio-Type pages. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to style a Portfolio-Type page so that I can customize the layout.

For instance, in my portfolio I have three main portfolio types: Photography, Design, and Writing. I’d like my the Portfolio-Type page for Design to display a subtitle explaining the portfolio-type, along with a thumbnail grid for design projects that I have created using the portfolio feature. Currently it shows the Portfolio-Type name but no subtitle/description and the thumbnails are 370px x 370px shown as more of a vertical line than a grid.

Here is a link to one of my Portfolio-Type pages for reference.

Any help would be awesome, this theme is great so far!

  • Hmm for your situation I would rather than using a portfolio type for the page try creating a page for each category. Make them the portfolio template and then limit each to the specific category. That way you can also add a subtitle.

I think I found the answer to my own question, sort of.

Instead of styling the Portfolio-Type page I simply created a page then used the Portfolio Grid template and designated which Portfolio-Type I wanted displayed. This gives the ability to edit and tweak things much more easily!

As I said, this is a great theme. Thank you for providing it, and for all your hard work, Kadence Themes!!
