Style: Top Menu – padding options?

When I select the Top Menu option for my header it defaults to way too much padding.

#site-header.top-header #site-logo {
    float: none;
    display: inline-block;
    padding: 50px 0;
}

I can’t see anyway to adjust that, you don’t allow negative numbers… am I missing something?

Of course it can be adjusted with CSS but I thought this was something that was overlooked, or, I just don’t see where to reduce the padding.

Otherwise, I am liking the theme.
