Style tweaks in version 3.x
-
I just updated from a pre 3.0 version, and I’m trying to set up the styles to match what I had before.
1) Is it possible to configure the color of the menu text that shows up next to the hamburger icon? It’s using my base link color, which isn’t appropriate on top of a dark background. I would think that the “Menu Bar Text Color” setting would apply, but it doesn’t do anything.
2) The menu link text is not vertically centered on the bar. I can kind of work around it by making the font size huge, but that’s not ideal.
3) In the old version, the menu text triggered the menu opening. In the new version, the text part links to the homepage. Please consider that this is not the ideal use case for all sites – especially ones that choose to use text like “MENU” rather than the site name. Any chance we can get a checkbox configuration to set whether the text acts as a standalone link vs the menu trigger action?
FWIW, I have no caching and no custom CSS overrides. Latest WordPress, PHP 7.2.
Thanks in advance.
