Hey,some specific style.css changes dont apply.

I made a change in the sidebars (removed right.png pic) and after that no matter what i did, these changes reamained the same. I even deleted and installed the theme again, but still the previous changes are saved or something.

Btw i already tried clearing my cache and inserting custom css through some plugins that are available.

Thats the first time im having this issue with themes, any ideas?

  • Weird. Sorry I can’t think of anything else to try at the moment.

Except maybe try switching to another theme and see if it’s behaving weird like that too – then you’d know if it’s this theme or something on your WP install or server.

No problem, thx for trying to help.

Btw it seems that i have similar issues with other themes too. But i dont have much time to test it at the moment.

Everything were ok until today though, dont know what happened.

Where is your site hosted? Some hosts have caching on their servers. Or it could be a temporary thing on the server end.

When you get back to it, if it’s still funky, you could reinstall WP.

From my host support they told me that there is no caching issue, because they made a change in the header.php and the changes applied.

Im not sure what else to try…

My guess would be that you removed the sidebar background for the wrong layout. There are 5 different sections you choose from. Which layout settings are you using and which code did you remove?

Edit: Or do you mean that your changes that were wrong still remained after updating? Make sure to delete dynamic.css from your theme, if you did a FTP-overwrite and used the Custom CSS field in the old version. Otherwise it may remain there in dynamic.css and mess things up for you.

If they were done in style.css and you updated the theme they definitely shouldn’t be there unless you have a cache plugin running that needs to be emptied – as already mentioned.

Yes exactly. I removed the left sidebar.png i think and i made some other small changes… Layout settings are two sidebars on each category.

But i can understand why these changes remain the same, after i reinstalled the theme.

Theme options are still saved with my previous settings and despite that the code is the original one,if i test it with firebug on my browser, the left siderbar.png image is still missing.

Any link to the site? Can’t really think of anything other than a caching issue. Try disabling all plugins to test.

When you go to Appearance > Themes. What version does Hueman say it is?

Just tried reinstalling it after deactivating all the plugins…still no change.

Ok i fixed it. My host have installed cloudflare recently,so that was the reason. Now i remember it and cleared the cache there.
