Style.css not working from child theme.

I’ve uploaded my child theme and added a style.css. In fact, I used the one downloaded from themes and co.

I’ve added some css in order to make the body background color grey instead of white, but it’s not showing up in either the developer tools, or on the site (obviously). I’ve cleared my cache and everything.

Any thoughts? ??
