Hello, I had a situation where I needed to roll back to the previous version in wordpress, and after restoring the backup, all the styles disappeared and it says that – It looks like your site does not have an active set. An active set includes all the settings of your site. By recreating your set, you will be able to start editing the site settings again. Although they were. Can I restore them when I restore the backup?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!?

When you restore a WordPress backup, it usually includes both the database (which stores your content, settings, and configurations) and the files (which include your themes, plugins, and uploaded media). If after restoring the backup, you’re encountering a message saying your site doesn’t have an active set, it might be due to a few reasons:

    1. Incomplete or Corrupted Backup: There could have been an issue with the backup itself, causing certain settings or configurations not to restore properly.
    2. Database or File Mismatch: Sometimes, the restored database might not match the theme or plugins’ versions, causing compatibility issues.
    3. Cache or Browser Issue: Clearing cache or trying from a different browser might help rule out any temporary issues.

Contact your hosting provider for support, especially if the issue seems to be related to the backup restoration process or server configurations.

Always make sure you have a backup of your current state before making any major changes, especially if you’re going to make adjustments to the database or core files.

    Hope your day goes well!

    Cheers,
