stylesheet missing

  • I have recently purchased the theme chocolate wp through themeforest and have been trying to upload it for the last two days. It wouldn’t let me upload the zipped file, perhaps b/c it is too big (I kept getting Please try again message) so I then downloaded filezilla and have tried uploading it through ftp. Everything looks good when I click on it in filezilla, but when I go to manage themes I constantly get the message “The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name Description
    dt-chocolate Stylesheet is missing.”

    I know that my file has a folder that says css which I believe is the style sheet. I’m just not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Please contact your theme’s vendors regarding this.

    I’m also having this problem but it is with every paid one that I’ve tried to upload. All from various sources. The CSS stylesheet is there but wordpress is not recognizing it. I, too have tried uploading it through my cpanel, an FTP client as well as directly in the wordpress dashboard.
    Do you have any other suggestions?

    Same Here…I’ve purchased a Theme Forest theme and when I try to upload the ZIP it says “Stylesheet is missing”, but the Stylesheet is there. Please Help.

    My understanding is that TF themes have more than one zip folder so you have to unzip the first one before installing it. But to be sure , you need to contact them for help- commercial themes are not supported on these forums.
