• so recently I’ve used this theme and edited the font family’s for a site I’m building for myself, things happened and I’ve had to remake the site several times because of other unrelated issues.

Before I would go into the stylesheet and edit everything like fonts opacity and colors just fine. Now the major issue is the Stylesheet editor is completely unresponsive; when I click “Update File” the browser takes a long time to load before saying “the webpage is unavailable.”

It even does this when I don’t even change anything

    please someone help

Can you discuss this with your hosting providers?

i just dont understand how i could be having this problem now as opposed to a week ago

Sounds like a server problem – what did your hosting company say?

they havent answered yet but heres an update, when I simply delete the whole scripts it updates properly but now I have an empty script and when i try to paste it back on it does the same thing. i have it backed up just on case

do you think it just might be too much for the browser to handle?

What script are you talking about? What code are you putting in there? And why are you modifying theme files? I don’t see a child theme on your site. All of your changes will be lost when the theme is updated.

im just trying to change font families and italic words to normal and make opacity changes using the wordpress editor spun: Stylesheet (style.css)

its all simple stuff, its just not working

    If you modify theme files,

All of your changes will be lost when the theme is updated.

Aside from that, this kind of behavior isn’t normal in any case – and sounds like a server issue.

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and try another browser.

Also be sure all plugins are deactivated and switch to a default theme to see if that changes the behavior.
