• Hi. I developed I website with Hello theme by Elementor. The files were in a server but I had no domain, so my hosting provider activated a temporary URL. Today I finished the web, I deactivated the temporary URL and associated a domain to that hosting. After that I lost all the styles that I created with Elementor: colors, fonts, margins, paddings… everything. I went to Elementor > Tools > Replace URL Tab and entered my old url and my new url, and then went to General > Regenerate CSS > Regenerate Files, but nothing changes. When I open the site settings I only see the default colors and fonts. Please help me!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

The problem might be related to the URLs being used in your WordPress database.

Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:

    1. Update URLs in the Database:
      • Install and activate a plugin like “Better Search Replace” or “Velvet Blues Update URLs.”
      • Go to the plugin settings and enter your old temporary URL in the “Search for” field and your new domain in the “Replace with” field.
      • Select all the tables for replacement and run the search/replace process.
    2. Check WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL):
      • Go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
      • Navigate to Settings > General.
      • Ensure that both “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” are set to your new domain.
    3. Update Elementor Global Colors and Fonts:
      • In the Elementor editor, go to the Style tab.
      • Check if the global colors and fonts are set to the default values or the ones you initially configured.
      • If they are set to default, reconfigure them with your desired settings.
    4. Regenerate CSS:
      • In the Elementor settings, go to General > Regenerate CSS.
      • Click on the “Regenerate Files” button.
    5. Clear Cache:
      • Clear any caching mechanisms you might have in place, both on your website (if you have a caching plugin) and on your browser. This ensures that you are not loading cached styles.
    6. Check Theme Settings:
      • If you are using a theme that has its own settings for colors and fonts, make sure they are configured correctly.

After performing these steps, refresh your website and see if the styles are restored. If the issue persists, there might be a more complex problem, and you may need to consider seeking assistance from your hosting provider.

Remember to take a backup of your website before making any significant changes to the database or settings.
