Styling and layout flicker/flash that *doesn’t* appear in the demo

I’m trying to figure out why on my blog, as I check out Blogstream for a bit, often on reload I get an initial flicker or flash of different styling and layout issues (like with the profile image loading too large and then reducing to its correct styling) that I cannot seem to replicate while browsing the online demo. I don’t seem to get these issues with other themes I’ve used, say, over the past year. Thanks.
