I saw your two postings about this here, too, and unfortunately I don’t have time to look into this in-depth right this minute (and possibly not for a few days, depending on unrelated factors in my life), sorry. If you’re in a hurry and feel comfortable doing so, you could try the current development version of the plugin (the pre-release version of the next stable release) and see if the few modifications there solve the issue for you.

There aren’t currently any major changes in the development version that are unsafe, but I’d still always recommend creating a back-up of your site and installing development code on a test copy of your website, not the live production of your site.

Again, sorry I can’t look into this right now but I will swing back around to look into the issue more fully when time permits.

Hi again, I glanced at the source code for the link you provided and immediately noticed a problem: your theme is using a very old version of jQuery (1.4.2), but DataTables requires at least version 1.7 to function at all. WordPress itself ships with updated jQuery libraries, so there’s no good reason your theme should supply its own additional copy of a jQuery library, especially a very old one. Before you do any other troubleshooting, I suggest you contact your theme’s developer to ask them to use WordPress’s built-in jQuery, not their own. This is almost surely the cause of your problem, or at least a major part of the problem you’re experiencing.
