Styling lists that include images

I’ve been struggling with my recent comments widget for ages. Google hasn’t helped. My problem is that I can’t effectively align text around the gravatars called by my widget. I can assign a vertical position, but if the text covers more that two lines, the second drops, messes the following comments up, and just looks ugly.

The (widget wp-comment-remix) calls gravatars with a function (%g), so I can’t play with how the image is aligned using html and have to find a css solution (I think).

The problem is quite obvious. Just go to holidayfu.com. The widget is third form the top. I imagine there’s quite a simple solution, if you know what you’re doing.
