Styling logo to the left of the menu bar in child theme

Hi,

I need some help styling my logo to the left in the menu bar. I followed the instructions on installing and activating a child them and all is good. I also applied the instructions on creating the navigation-top.php and the site-branding.php files inside the folders created in the template parts folder. Could you please advise as to what I need to add and in which file. Thank you so much!
