I’m using WPBeaverBuilder

When I insert a Strong Testimonials WordPress Widget into my page, select my view in the dialog box etc and click on save, the testimonials do not display correctly.

If I click on ‘Done’ and exit the pagebuilder to view the page, then the styling is applied – and once I return to edit the page in the pagebuilder environment again, they display correctly

It’s just when you first create your element/module in the page builder

For instance, I have created a view to display testimonials in a Masonry grid with titles and feature images displayed.

When I create a module to display that view and exit the dialog box, I get the following display on the screen:

Whereas, once I click on ‘Done’ and view the page outside the page builder, the testimonials transform to be displayed properly:

It took me a while to figure this out and I thought I was going mad as my partner was viewing the same page (outside of BB) and was seeing it display properly and couldn’t understand what my issue with the poor layout was.

As we’re building a ‘simple’ website building tool for our clients, we don’t want them to have similar problems and it create lots of support issues for us.

Could you investigate why the styling isn’t being applied until the page is saved?

Thanks for the details and screenshots.

I will work on this. The cause is simple: The plugin only loads its scripts and styles when needed, not on every page, and it performs that check before the content is rendered. So it doesn’t know to load Masonry when just adding a widget.

Page builder integration is more complex than simple compatibility and every page builder is different so getting this to work in one requires testing in all others.

Have you decided on using Beaver Builder or are you still considering other page builders? Any other tools on your clients’ toolbox I should know about?
