Styling Posts Shortcode

  • Hello – I’m trying to create an updated blog page in the Twenty Fifteen theme that displays excerpts of all of our blog posts on one page and links to the posts pages. https://leadous.com/blogs/

    I had trouble setting the posts page to blogs (none of the posts showed up when I tried that method), so I used the posts shortcode on the blogs page instead to display all the blog posts on one page.

    However, I’m having trouble styling the actual list of posts. I’d like to remove the “0 comments” links under each post (we don’t have comments on our blogs anyway) and add a “read more” link after the post.

    I’m pretty new to WordPress, it took me awhile just to figure out the shortcode, so appreciate the help!

    Hi there!

    The shortcode you are using, does it come from a plugin or is a shortcode the theme creates? Have you tried reaching out to the author of that shortcode?
