styling questions starting page

Dear All,
when you take a look at my starting page you at first see that the navigation background colour is a mess. OK, I have posted a seperate question on this. But you also see that there is a little bit of grey above the green background of the header. I do not know where it comes from. Can you please help me on this? OK that are all my questions for now. Looking forward to hearing from you,
