Hello,

I’m using the Subtitles plugin, but I really dislike it looking exactly like my title but smaller. I wanted to change it a little bit through my theme’s custom CSS, but I tried using things as

span.entry-subtitle { font-size: 40px !important; }

trying to see if the code was working, but it was not. The subtitles are still the same size as before.

How can I change it properly so I can change the color, font style, font size and such?

And by the way, I don’t know much about coding, so if anyone knows how to fix it, please explain to me on the most simple way.

Hi there,

You will need to disable this while debugging your CSS issue. That plugin has aggressive caching (good thing) but makes it hard to debug CSS and JS issues at times.

I have to disable it when I add the styling and then I can turn it back on?

Well the whole point of caching is to keep your old styling until you flush the old cache out. So disable the plugin or clear your plugin cache and the styling should show up.

I already tried flushing the cache before and it didn’t work anyways…
Should I disable the plugin to test?

Yes. If that doesn’t work then your CSS modifications aren’t correct.
