Styling the print version

As for your request, you can override the print styles. They’re defined here:

print styles: https://github.com/hgezim/zip-recipes/blob/master/styles/zlrecipe-print.css
standard styles: https://github.com/hgezim/zip-recipes/blob/master/styles/zlrecipe-std.css

If you do decide to override the standard styles, ensure you uncheck ‘Use Zip Recipes style’ from the Zip Recipes Plugin settings page.

Thank you for that. I’m afraid I’m not sure how exactly to override them? Do I need to do it in the plugin folder, and won’t that mean that they’ll be overridden again on the next plugin update?

Wow, sorry this question fell through the cracks, ModestUs.

You should be able to save zlrecipe-std.css to your theme and then update it as you like. Just make sure you uncheck “Use Zip Recipes style” in Zip Recipes settings page.

Unfortunately, the print styles have to be overwritten individually. So, create a stylesheet for this as well in your theme and then ensure that the styles you override from zlrecipe-print.css you make them more specific using CSS selectors ( https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2010/04/07/css-specificity-and-inheritance/ ).
