Stylizing Issues

Hello.
I have a few stylizing questions if you could so kindly help please.

1. The month/year do not show up. You have .widget_calendar #wp-calendar caption { display: none; } Seems rather strange.. How can I go about changing this?

2. I would like to change the colors of the top and bottom bars. What is the procedure for editing that?

3. How can I call out the days that have events on them a bit more? Right now they only have a line under them. I’d like to add a block of color behind them and change the font color of that specific day to white. Help?
