[su_highlight] — is ? at the end really necessary?

  • Hello. First I want to say thank you for the plugin! Very cool!

    If i write:
    [su_highlight]example[/su_highlight]
    On the output shows text with a space at the end.

    To me it is not very suitable. Therefore, each time when I update the plugin, I need to open /wp-content/plugins/shortcodes-ultimate/inc/core/shortcodes.php, find string
    return '<span class="su-highlight' . su_ecssc( $atts ) . '" style="background:' . $atts['background'] . ';color:' . $atts['color'] . '">?' . do_shortcode( $content ) . '& nbsp;</span>';
    and delete last
    & nbsp;

    Maybe you can remove this space in the default output? Or it’s so necessary?
