Sub Categories not showing

    On the main shop page the sub categories do not show – just the default category. I have checked the category, the appearance shop page and all show sub categories. However, the widget on the sidebar shows the correct hierarchy.
    What am I doing wrong??

    This is the expected behavior. Shop page can show Products, Categories or both, but not subcategories.

    You can display subcategories on the Category pages though.

    To alter catalog and/or shop layouts to show products in their respective categories or subcategories you may consider using Nested Category Layout.
