sub category not showing!

  • I tried to use this permalink:

    /product/%product_cat%/%category%/%post_id%

    But whenever I click the update button, it goes like this:
    /product/%product_cat%/tegory%/%post_id%

    The %ca strips out! What is going on??????????

    I want to show the PARENT CATEGORY AND THE SUB CATEGORY ON THE LINKS PLEASE

    Hi, sorry you’ve had trouble with this. That’s a very strange problem indeed! I’ll see if I can reproduce it.

    To help me out can you let me know if you have any other plugins active and which theme this happens with so I can rule those out?

    Turns out this happens when you use one of the built in text field sanitisation functions. I’ve swapped it now and this no longer a problem.
