Sub-Category overrides work inconsistently
-
Hi There,
I’m really glad you have created this plugin, and if it means I finally have a decent solution for filters on my site via the WOOF plugin. I will definitely be making a donation, because honestly, I have had a nightmare trying to find a reliable solution for complex product filtering for Woocommerce.
I see this is a new plugin, so I assume there are a few issues to iron out. Check out this screenshot to see the settings I have applied:
The Shop override works: https://chipx.co.nz/shop/
The Cutting Tools override works: https://chipx.co.nz/product-category/cutting-tools/
And propagates to it’s child categories: https://chipx.co.nz/product-category/cutting-tools/chipx/
The SwiftCARB override works: https://chipx.co.nz/product-category/cutting-tools/swiftcarb/
But then I try to override one of it’s child categories filters, and it doesn’t work:https://chipx.co.nz/product-category/cutting-tools/swiftcarb/swiftcarb-av-series/The overrides work for some child/sub categories but not others. Am I missing something or is this a bug??
This is the key behaviour I need for this site… I want to ask ‘questions’ of our visitors at each level in the hierarchy using the filters, so I need to make sure they are relevant for the products in each Category, otherwise we won’t be able to return the correct products for our customers to buy.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers
Scott.
