sub-directories don't show in multisite network

  • Hi,

    I have set up a multisite network on my root domain. I followed some instructions & added the relevant data in the htacess files etc. It seems fine, but when I go to ‘My sites’ in the wp admin it is only showing my root domain site. I don’t know how to add the others.

    I tried adding adding a new site via the network wp-admin but if I add an existing sub-directory I get taken a page saying; Missing or invalid site address. But those addresses are still there & are correct.

    Could anyone offer any advice on how I can add existing sub-directories to the network as I really cant even guess.

    Just to add to that, I have since added the MU mapping plugin. All seems to have gone fine but none of the sub-directories are showing still. Do I have to redirect those subdirectories. I have no idea how to point them to the root directory for a multisite. I also can’t find any relevant posts in the forum or instructions.

    There are no subdirectories. They’re virtual.
