• Resolved NYG8OR

    (@nyg8or)

I am having an issue with the sub items on my menu bar. The home page of the site displays the menu correctly including sub items. I have menu items with sub items and some without. When you are on a sub item menu page, the menu bar no longer shows sub items on it. You can navigate to menu items without sub items, but if there is a sub item, you can not see the sub items. My site is: collegefootballquest.com

If you go to the trip games menu and select Quest Games Attended and enter that page. Then go to the Trip Games Menu, yo will no longer be able to see the sub items on the menu.

I am using the Theme Reaction.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • The nav does not work only on these pages…

    https://collegefootballquest.com/all-games-attended-al/
    https://collegefootballquest.com/all-games-attended/
    https://collegefootballquest.com/list-of-all-stadiums-in-quest/
    https://collegefootballquest.com/quest-games-attended/

…which seem to be using the same format.
Is this format produced by a plugin?
If so, then this is the culprit.

Yes, it is a TablePress issue. Thanks for the help and I will seek help in that forum.

I have resolved the sub menu bar not showing up as it was related to my theme adding a 2nd JQuery library (I was told this by the plugin author as this is a bit over my head). So now, the sub menus do appear.

But I have a new problem in that the submenus disappear on all pages when I try to click them. I have done a bit of searching and found this could be a styles.css issue, but when I open that file, it is essentially blank. When I open the source code on a page on my site, it is overwhelming and I still have no idea what to change.

    Help please. Thanks.

I have had to revert the site back to its original format so there is at least some functionality making it useful, so there is no longer a way for the baove links to see what has been happening.

So I will close the case..for now.
