Sub sites won't work in Subdomain network

    but when I try to create a new sub site it just doesn’t work (the dasboard, nor the site itself). It just says that it cannot be found.

    What does the error look like? Is it styled like your primary WordPress site or is it a generic server error?

    No, it does not look like wordpress, it says that chrome cannot find the address, like the site was never created..

    Then the problem is NOT WordPress. Yay! Well… not yay, but at least we can tell you where to go ??

    The problem is you don’t have wildcard DNS. You have edit your DNS so that *.yourdomain.com is listed with the same IP as yourdomain.com

    You also have to make sure your nameservers know what that means.

    If you don’t know how to set that, talk to the company where you registered your domain (it may be your webhost).
