• Hi, I have a subfolder blog-network running here:
    https://www.familierockt.com
since the update, none of the subblogs are reachable anymore, not even the admin space. I checked the .htaccess file hasn’t changed. Any ideas? am stuck, as nothing is reachable….

    thanks

    update:
I renamed the plugins folder, checked the htaccess file, checked the configs, all seems fine. Just can’t reach any of my subsites. Anyone got the same issue since updating to 3.52,
am pretty much stuck here…. my backup before updating had failed as well, so am a bit desperate…

Same here, checked everything you did, no results!

We just upgraded to 3.5.2 last night, but haven’t had any problems. We’re using subdomains. From what I’ve read recently, as far as problems with accessing sub-sites after upgrading, seems to be with subfolder installs.

It seems that there have been some problems during this upgrade. My network is configured as sub-sites, It did not break anything. But I detected database errors in the logs: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/database-error-when-upgrading-352 and I don’t understand these errors.

Without an actual description of what the error is it’s hard to say.

What does ‘not reachable’ mean? Do you get a White Screen of Death? A server error? What?

(FWIW: Every upgrade has the possibility of issues, but this has been a very minor occurrence of people reporting vanishing sites. I would not be surprised to find it’s a DB issue)

Thanks Ipstenu, you’re right, difficult to know the causes so little information ??
In my case, I have not had an impact. My network works perfectly.

But I do not understand why, during the network update, for each site wordpress tries to create new tables, this what I have seen in the logs.

I would like to find out the cause, because either something is not well configured on my network or there was an error in the wordpress update.

Hi, with not reachable I mean:
on my main blog, posts get pulled in correctly from the sitewide tags plugin’s blog.
1 – none of the images of the subsites show up (main blog images are ok)
2 – none of the navigation/post links from the main blog work (404)
    3 – all links to subsites give a 404 (incl. subblog/wp-admin)

It all looks as if the .htaccess rewrites fail, but my .htaccess hasn’t been changed.

The system had been running for over a year without flaws until the recent update to 3.5.2. Unfortunately my backups failed since beginning of June, so I am not able to revert.

I’d be ready to pay for someone to have a look into it.

    So you’re using sub-directories.

Has your SERVER had any updates? Can you check if allowoverride is set to All (or possibly Options All)? That’s what this sounds like to me.
