Subdomain of Multisite Website takes too long to take effect.

    The subdomain of multisite takes too long to take effect.
    I have already forced cache using the SG plugin and on SG site tool.

    The main domain is quick to take effect.

    for subdomains, I need to wait 3-4 hours to see the updated site.

    I am not sure what is happening.

    I am not able to replicate the mentioned delayed updates on a fresh multisite application.

    Could you please provide us with your domain and with more information about the issue that you are experiencing?

    Hello @mrkknnthcrz,

    In order to have the cache purged properly for all subdomains they need to be created in SiteTools interface. If you are using wildcard subdomain and not real subdomains set in SiteTools, the cache purge method is not able to properly fetch the domains it needs to flush the cache for.

    The easiest way is to add the subdomains as Parked domains in SiteTools, to avoid setting up aliases from the subdomain directories to the main domain root folder.

    Seems your suggestion fixed my issue.

    I thought parking subdomain is not possible in the “Parked Domains” section.
    Thanks for the info.

    Bottom line, I cannot use the wildcard subdomain for the multisite subdomain because caching will not work correctly?

    I hope that the wildcard issue will work correctly in the future plugin update. I don’t want to manually park every newly subdomain I created on my multisite.
