Subdomain on Hostgator not redirecting properly

  • Hi everyone,

    I’ve installed WordPress on mydomain.com/sitename and I’ve created a subdomain sitename.mydomain.com.

    If I visit my site on sitename.mydomain.com and click on Contact, for example, it changes to mydomain.com/sitename/conatct/.

    Can please somebody advise how could I keep the URL like this: sitename.mydomain.com/contact/
