Subdomain redirect to main site

  • Hi, I have followed the steps I could find for creating a network of multisites.
    From the admin dashboard when I want to enter any of the networks i get a 404 and 500 code. I have searched for options. Tried them but it still does not work.
    I tried visiting from my cpannel but i just get redirected to the main site. Have tried diffrent root paths. Just can’t get it to work.

    I’d like to use this plugin to have a simple staging environment, so that I can use multisite duplicator to take mysite.com/en to mydevsite.com/en

    Most of it I can do by duplicating the site, then editing the wp_{x}_options and wp_blogs tables, but for some reason it redirects me to the main site. I’ve checked and there really is nothing forcing this behaviour in the db table, my wp-config.php has SITE_ID_CURRENT_SITE, BLOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE, PATH_CURRENT_SITE and DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE all commented out so I’m unsure what the problem is
