When first installing wordpress I wanted to have the wordpress files uploaded to a subdirectory of my database, so I did. Later on, when figuring out how to create the rest of the static site proved to be impossible to understand, I deleted all files from the database in order to start over. Next I uploaded the wordpress files to the root directory of my database and tried to continue the installation, as I did before. However, this time, when logging in via https://www.domainname.com/wp-login.php, I automatically get redirected to https://www.domainname.com/subdirectory/wp-login.php.

    What is the problem?
