    Hi,

    1. Done the steps you advised.
    2. I’m using WordPress in single-site mode.
    3. I’m having an issue with “User Email Changed Confirmation – For User” notification.
    4. There is no “Subject” field to edit for this notification. All other notifications that I use have this field so I can define my custom subject, but not this one. It uses the default WordPress subject “global_site_title New Email Address”.

Is this a bug or default behavior?

    Thank you.

    Hi @kejatz,
    Thanks for your message.

What you’re seeing is default behaviour. The filter present in WordPress core that BNFW uses to override the email notification doesn’t have the ability to override the subject field. As such, it’s hidden from this notification as it wouldn’t do anything.
The only thing I can do is submit patches to WordPress core and hope they’re incorporated for these kinds of omissions but whether they’re accepted and accepting in a timely manor, is another matter.

Hope this helps and makes sense.

This sounds great and it would be nice to be consistent with all other notifications. I really like your plugin, I’m also interested in other add-ons.

Are there any other notifications with similar limitations to the “User Email Changed Confirmation – For User”?

    Hi @kejatz,
I agree. I’ll see what I can do about this notification.

The notifications with the most limitations are the ones from WordPress core. Mostly the newer and lesser used ones. The most common issue is the inability to change the person it is sent to, change the email headers (such as CC/BCC details), and the subject, as you’ve seen.
